Welcome to the DSLR Mini Lesson Series!

I understand what it’s like to have a “fancy” camera and not have a clue where to begin with it. Just looking at all the different dials, modes, and settings can be overwhelming enough to either leave it on automatic mode or set it down altogether. I challenge you to not give up so easily! Little by little, you can learn how to take control of that camera and begin the fun journey of creating photographs that you love and are proud of!

The Mini Lessons

These lessons are meant to give you a brief overview of the main elements to understand in order to get your camera off of “auto” mode. I recommend taking the time to learn in small steps so that you don’t get overwhelmed (there’s always more to learn about the art of photography!). When practicing, it is very beneficial to focus on one or two small, manageable skills at a time. The more you practice the easier it will be to build upon your knowledge and skill level!

Are you ready? Let’s get started with the lessons!
