The Birth Story of Madelyn Grace | Louisville and Southern Indiana Birth Photography

I’ve photographed many babies being brought into the world, but the birth of this precious one is by far the most special I’ve witnessed. My sweet baby niece, Madelyn Grace, was born on February 21, 2020 and it will be a day I’ll never forget. There aren’t words to accurately describe the joy of watching my brother become a dad and my sister-in-law holding her baby in her arms after an intense, exhausting labor. Documenting them welcoming their baby girl and becoming parents will always be one of the greatest honors of my life.

When Madelyn watches this one day I hope she feels how immensely adored she was, even before she had entered this world. I hope she recognizes the courage and strength of her momma and the way her dad supported and encouraged her so well. I hope she sees the great joy on everyone’s faces when they laid eyes on her for the first time. From the delivery room to the ones patiently awaiting her arrival in the waiting room, everyone was there for HER. I hope that always brings her a sense of great comfort and reminds her of how many loved ones will forever be in her corner, cheering her on. She is one very loved little girl, and I’m so grateful to be her aunt. She is a gift from above and a blessing to us all.
