Welcoming Baby Julian | New Albany Fresh 48 Newborn Photographer

When I first talked with this momma it was impossible not to notice how truly grateful and excited she was to meet her sweet boy. That’s one reason why I love newborn photos so much (especially Fresh 48 photos). The love, happiness, and awe that you see in the photos aren’t forced or posed. It just happens so naturally when their long awaited baby is finally in their arms. It reminds me over and over that being a parent is such a gift. Some days can seem overwhelming and mundane, but remembering these beginning days and that deep sense of gratitude, joy, and excitement for what’s to come always helps give me the perspective shift I need to see how special these days with our little ones truly are.

I loved how excited Lauren was to have Fresh 48 photos taken. When I walked into the room she was beaming. You would never know that she had just had a baby not even 24 hours before and was running on only hours of sleep. She was in heaven with her new baby boy. It was so easy and fun photographing her sweet family together. She was so nice to share with me just why she wanted Fresh 48 photos taken:

Having a Fresh 48 session was important to me to have the very first memories with my husband and brand new baby forever. What I loved about the session was that there was minimal forced posing or facial expressions. The posing we did was guided by you so we knew exactly what to do. These pictures are so special to me because I’ll forever have these pictures of my beautiful first born baby boy.

These photos only get sweeter with time. The memories from these beginning hours and days can begin to fade with time, but having these photos will help you forever remember the small details you loved so much.

Now, meet the Taylor family. Julian was the sweetest baby.. and just wait till you see his beautiful head of hair! His mom and dad were totally smitten over him, for obvious reasons. I can only imagine how much more their love for him has grown with each passing day. It’s crazy how that happens, isn’t it? You don’t think your heart could grow any more, but each day it does. Children are such a gift… stretching, pushing, and growing us in ways we never thought we could. I’m thankful I get to be reminded of this every time I meet wonderful families like this.

Thank you, Lauren and Brent. I loved every minute working with you and your baby boy!
