A Day with the Etheridge Family | A Family Lifestyle Session

Life has been busy and exciting for the Etheridge family this year.  They welcomed Baby Taylor into their family in May and recently moved in to their brand new (beautiful) home.  I couldn't be happier when they invited me over to capture this new season of life for their little family.  

Family lifestyle sessions have a huge piece of my heart.  As a photographer, I want so badly to capture moments for families that are real and authentic.  Years down the road, I want them to look back on these photos and vividly remember that time in their lives and the wonderful memories that were made.  I want their children to look at these photos and remember their favorite pajamas, their family pet, what their bedroom looked like and see the fun and laughter they shared with the ones they love most.  The meaning behind these photos aren't so much for now, but rather for the future.  It's giving your family and your children a gift of capturing and preserving their memories.  What gift is better than that?

I had so much fun with this family.. It was an ordinary day during this season of their life.  Naps, bath time, playing and hanging outside.  Things they do on a daily basis, but to me I think it's those moments that are the most special and meaningful.  Those are the memories that become engrained in their children and give them a sense of security and love.  It's those memories that they'll remember forever.
